Mosaic, the new web magazine of Jewish thought and culture, is looking for full-time editorial talent. Knowledge of and engagement with Jewish matters are a must. Editorial and social-media experience are highly desirable, as is basic familiarity with web technology.

We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience. The position is based in New York and can start immediately.

Functions include:

• Participate in all aspects of the editorial operation, including proposing and developing article ideas and working with authors
• Find, summarize, and present important, relevant Jewish content from around the web
• Manage social media (Facebook and Twitter) accounts
• Assist in production and development of the website and related projects
• Assist in marketing and publicity efforts
